Rotary position sensors include potentiometers, resolvers and a variety of magnetic and capacitive technologies. Sensors are designed for angular displacement less than one turn or for multiturn displacement. Search by Specification | Learn More
Incremental rotary encoders are multi-turn sensors that use optical, mechanical, or magnetic index-counting for angular measurement. They contain no absolute reference, but instead count relative to the turn-on position. Search by Specification | Learn More
Linear position sensors is a general search form for all linear position / displacement detection product areas. Search by Specification | Learn More
Rotary positioning stages are devices with tables or shafts that may be rotated to any angular position. They may be driven or simple slides. Search by Specification | Learn More
Angular contact bearings are designed so that a contact angle between the races and the balls is formed when the bearing is in use. Search by Specification | Learn More
Multi-axis Positioning Systems make use of linear, rotary and goniometric stages, slides and drives in various combinations to create standard and custom positioning systems. Learn More
Absolute rotary encoders use optical, mechanical, or magnetic indexing for angular measurement. They do not lose their position after power-down, but instead provide absolute position upon power-up without requiring a home cycle or any shaft rotation. Search by Specification | Learn More
Encoder and resolver signal conditioners accept encoder and resolver measurements and convert or condition these signals into digital data or suitable levels. Search by Specification | Learn More
Linear slides are simple linear motion devices composed of a stationary base and a moving carriage. Linear stages are slides with a drive mechanism that provide controlled, precise positioning along a linear axis. Search by Specification | Learn More
Linear encoders sense and digitize linear position change for positional measurement and feedback to control systems. Search by Specification | Learn More
...to the motor. As the input to the motor changes, the angular position of the output shaft changes as well. Servomotors are generally small and powerful for their size, and easy to control. Common types of DC servomotors include brushless or gearmotor types... Search by Specification | Learn More
Valve positioners compare a control signal to a valve actuator’s position and move the actuator accordingly. They are used with both linear valves and rotary valves. Search by Specification | Learn More
...absolute or incremental encoders and a number of different encoder signal types. Integral resolvers contain an attached resolver to indicate the angular position. Resolvers often rely on magnetic fields and are typically very robust; they are sometimes... Search by Specification | Learn More
Servo drives provide electrical drive outputs to servo motors in closed-loop motion control systems where position feedback and corrective signals optimize position and speed accuracy. Search by Specification | Learn More
Variable reluctance linear position sensors and switches are noncontact devices that use variable reluctance based technology, and whose output signal represents the distance between an object and a reference point. Search by Specification | Learn More

The inductive rotary encoders of the HEIDENHAIN ExI 1100 series are now available in versions whose mating dimensions are the same as those of common types of resolvers. Depending on the respective applications and accuracy requirements, inductive or optical absolute encoders are now possible as high resolution alternatives to resolvers. These encoders are easy to mount and inexpensive (read more)
iC-MA supplies the absolute angular position of a magnet placed above or below the chip's package, with a set of four distributed Hall sensors granting a reasonable system assembly tolerance. Controlled signal amplitudes are ensured by the embedded signal conditioning circuit also monitoring a "loss of magnet" condition for z-axis detection. (read more)
The Model 0607-0001 360° ADT and Model 1004-0000 Display, as a system, provide precision feedback and readout of shaft angular displacement over a full 360° revolution. (read more)
The Scott-T transformer is a two-core device able to achieve highly accurate sine and cosine signal transfer typically used for angular position sensors. (read more)
AGI's new advancement in three jaw pneumatic angular grippers. The AGA Series Angular Gripper Actuator features four models with three jaws. The gripper jaws 180 degree opening is suited for applications which must be performed within a limited work area. The AGA series have stroke-limiting screws to adjust the stroke between 0 and 180 degree and gripping forces from 20 to 200 lbs. (read more)
The AGA Series Angular Gripper Actuator features four new models that have three jaws.
