Temperature instruments use contact or noncontact methods to measure temperature. Products include dial, digital, industrial and laboratory thermometers; temperature probes, indicators, and sensors; RTD elements and transmitters; and thermistors, thermocouples, thermopiles, and thermal switches. 

Dial thermometers are bimetal or bi-metallic, liquid or gas-filled, and vapor-tension-based. These devices display temperatures in Fahrenheit, Celsius, or both

Metal rod and bar stock are metals and alloys in the form of round bars or rod, square bars, rectangular or flat bars, hexagons, and other bar stock shapes.

Thermal cutoffs and thermal protectors are nonresetting, thermally sensitive devices designed to protect domestic electrical appliances and industrial equipment from fire. They are sometimes described as thermal one-shot fuses.

Temperature sensors are measurement devices that infer temperature by sensing some physical characteristic (i.e. resistance, emf or thermal radiation).

Thermostats and thermal switches are electro-mechanical on/off switches that are activated by temperature changes. They are typically used to control heating and cooling systems.

Metal wire and strand has a round, flat, or shaped cross section. Products are usually less than 0.375" in diameter.

Metal foils and foil stock are very thin, metal-mill products with a thickness that is usually less than 0.006 in.

Metal strip is narrow, thin metal or alloy stock that is usually 0.187" (3/16 inch, 4.76 mm) or less in thickness and under 24 inches (609.6 mm) in width.

Metal sheet is metal or alloy stock supplied or available in the form of sheet or foil. Metal sheet has a thickness between 0.006" and 0.250", and is 24" (609.6 mm) or more in width.

Electrical contact and electrode materials are soft, high conductivity, oxidation resistant materials used in circuit breakers, relays, and for EDM applications.

Ferrous metals and alloys are based on iron and include carbon steels, alloy steels, stainless steels, cast iron, cast steel, maraging steel, and specialty or proprietary iron-based alloys. 

Electrical contacts and contact materials are soft, high-conductivity, oxidation- resistant materials that are used in circuit breakers, relays, switches, and electrical discharge machining (EDM) applications.  They often have a second phase in order to provide anti-welding and/or arc resistance.

Stainless steel alloys are austenitic, ferritic, martensitic, precipitation hardened (PH), and duplex metal materials that are available in a wide variety of grades, shapes, and sizes.

Aluminum and aluminum alloys are lightweight, non-ferrous metals with good corrosion resistance, ductility and strength.
