Inductive Conductivity sensors do not use metallic electrodes to measure the electolytic conductivity of the solution. Two torodial magnetic coils are embedded in the 3/4" diameter PVDF housing and inductive coupling between the coils is proportional to the conductivity of the surrounding solution. (read more)
