Today's markets for glass have very demanding performance requirements. The quality of glass is directly related to the uniformity of the furnace temperature during the tempering process. Poorly maintained or fitted roll seals result in excessive heat loss and nonuniform furnace temperatures. At Rath, we use 5-axis CNC machining to ensure proper sealing with the tempering rolls.
