RENCO ENCODERS INC. introduces the new R35i being offered with TTL output resolution up to 8192 cycles per revolution, (32768 counts per revolution with quadrature). This resolution combined with extremely high output frequency capability of 500kHz allows this encoder to be used with motors running at over 3500 rpm. (read more)
Incremental rotary encoders are multi-turn sensors that use optical, mechanical, or magnetic index-counting for angular measurement. They contain no absolute reference, but instead count relative to the turn-on position. Search by Specification | Learn More about Incremental Rotary Encoders
Linear encoders sense and digitize linear position change for positional measurement and feedback to control systems. Search by Specification | Learn More about Linear Encoders
Motion control systems contain matched components such as controllers, motor drives, motors, encoders, user interfaces and software. Components in these systems are optimally matched by the manufacturer. Search by Specification | Learn More about Motion Control Systems
Rotary encoder disks are round or disk-shaped and have evenly-spaced holes or markings around their perimeter. Learn More about Rotary Encoder Disks
Absolute rotary encoders use optical, mechanical, or magnetic indexing for angular measurement. They do not lose their position after power-down, but instead provide absolute position upon power-up without requiring a home cycle or any shaft rotation. Model M58 is a 58 mm diameter industrial grade metric incremental encoder. It is available with either a standard 10mm shaft or 6mm shaft. The M58 provides a wide range of resolutions, up to 80,000 cycles per turn. Built to industrial standards, the M58 provides excellent resistance to shock and vibration.... (read more)
To simplify encoder inventories and allow one encoder to be used universally on the factory floor, Baumer has introduced the new EcoMag BRIx 58, a magnetic incremental encoder that can be easily programmed to 4,096 counts per revolution. In addition to counts per revolution, programmable parameters include direction of rotation, line driver output (TTL or HTL) and index. (read more)
SCHLEIFRING's incremental encoders utilize two basic principles: magnetic or optical scanning. Designed as subsystems on slip rings, incremental encoders are used for detecting rotational or linear speed, angular position, triggering of events and control applications in Explosives Detection Systems (EDS) as well as in CT scanners and Nuclear Medical machines. For speed and position control on electric motors, drives, gearboxes and conveyors, Baumer has introduced the revolutionary new MOR 90 and MOR 105 magnetic incremental encoders. Measuring just 14 mm thick, these extremely thin, flange-style encoders are virtually imperceptible when positioned between the motor and the gearbox and have little effect of the overall size of the assembly.
