RENCO ENCODERS INC. introduces the new R35i being offered with TTL output resolution up to 8192 cycles per revolution, (32768 counts per revolution with quadrature). This resolution combined with extremely high output frequency capability of 500kHz allows this encoder to be used with motors running at over 3500 rpm. (read more)
Incremental rotary encoders are multi-turn sensors that use optical, mechanical, or magnetic index-counting for angular measurement. They contain no absolute reference, but instead count relative to the turn-on position. Search by Specification | Learn More
Linear encoders sense and digitize linear position change for positional measurement and feedback to control systems. Search by Specification | Learn More
Slide switches are mechanical switches defined by their method of activation. The switch is a slider that moves (slides) from position to position. Search by Specification | Learn More
Absolute rotary encoders use optical, mechanical, or magnetic indexing for angular measurement. They do not lose their position after power-down, but instead provide absolute position upon power-up without requiring a home cycle or any shaft rotation. Search by Specification | Learn More
Rotary encoder disks are round or disk-shaped and have evenly-spaced holes or markings around their perimeter. Learn More
Rocker switches are actuated by a standard or dual rocker or paddle. Search by Specification | Learn More
Toggle switches are actuated by moving a lever back and forth to open or close an electrical circuit. Search by Specification | Learn More
Pushbutton switches are mechanical switches defined by the method used to activate the switch. The activation method is typically in the form of a plunger that is pushed down to open or close the switch. Search by Specification | Learn More
Switches are used to allow electric current to flow when closed. When opened, they prevent current flow. Common switch types include pushbutton, rocker, toggle, rotary coded DIP, rotary DIP, key lock, slide, snap action, and reed. Search by Specification | Learn More
Encoder and resolver signal conditioners accept encoder and resolver measurements and convert or condition these signals into digital data or suitable levels. Search by Specification | Learn More
Digital encoders convert coded information into a familiar or uncoded format. Search by Specification | Learn More
Motion control systems contain matched components such as controllers, motor drives, motors, encoders, user interfaces and software. Components in these systems are optimally matched by the manufacturer. Search by Specification | Learn More
Foot switches are switches that are activated by a pedal or air bulb (bellows). Search by Specification | Learn More
Touch switches and tactile switches operate by touching or pressing to make a connection. Touch switches are touch-operated devices that do not have moving parts. Tactile switches are electromechanical and provide tactile feedback. Search by Specification | Learn More
Video switchers control video display sequences for multiple camera systems. Search by Specification | Learn More

Model M58 is a 58 mm diameter industrial grade metric incremental encoder. It is available with either a standard 10mm shaft or 6mm shaft. The M58 provides a wide range of resolutions, up to 80,000 cycles per turn. Built to industrial standards, the M58 provides excellent resistance to shock and vibration.... (read more)
To simplify encoder inventories and allow one encoder to be used universally on the factory floor, Baumer has introduced the new EcoMag BRIx 58, a magnetic incremental encoder that can be easily programmed to 4,096 counts per revolution. In addition to counts per revolution, programmable parameters include direction of rotation, line driver output (TTL or HTL) and index. (read more)
SCHLEIFRING's incremental encoders utilize two basic principles: magnetic or optical scanning. Designed as subsystems on slip rings, incremental encoders are used for detecting rotational or linear speed, angular position, triggering of events and control applications in Explosives Detection Systems (EDS) as well as in CT scanners and Nuclear Medical machines. (read more)
Harsh industrial applications often expose plant equipment to caustic chemical materials, resulting in premature deterioration and failure. Now you can prevent costly equipment downtime and replacement by ordering your BEI encoders with a 304 series stainless steel encoder body and bearing housing. (read more)
Rotary incremental optical encoders: Model R258 and R260 offer rugged use, high performance in both single and dual-shaft designs. (read more)

For speed and position control on electric motors, drives, gearboxes and conveyors, Baumer has introduced the revolutionary new MOR 90 and MOR 105 magnetic incremental encoders. Measuring just 14 mm thick, these extremely thin, flange-style encoders are virtually imperceptible when positioned between the motor and the gearbox and have little effect of the overall size of the assembly. (read more)
Rotary encoder is the sensor, which transforms mechanical movement into electrical signal. It is widely used as a position sensor in an industrial machine, elevator, and robot.
The new series of DFS60 Incremental Encoders can be programmed to accommodate any value from 1 to 65,536 pulses per revolution (PPR) — something no other encoder can do. SICK is the only company to offer output voltage and zero set position programming through the software interface. This highly robust encoder features a revolutionary mechanical design and a metal code disc that provides ... (read more)
For highly precise positioning applications, Baumer Ltd. has introduced two new high resolution optical encoders that offer exceptional repeat accuracy. These programmable encoders offer resolutions in excess of 1.2 million pulses per revolution and repeat accuracy of 0.012 degrees at a 1.3 MHz maximum switching frequency. (read more)
