Magneto resistive linear position sensors and switches have a linear resistance output signal representing the distance an object is from a reference point
Search by Specification | Learn MoreLinear position sensors, all types, is a general search form for all linear position / displacement detection product areas
Search by Specification | Learn MoreMagnetic field sensors measure magnetic field strength, direction, and/or magnetic flux. They are used for scientific measurement, navigation, and industrial applications
Search by Specification | Learn MoreHall effect proximity sensors are used to detect the proximity, presence or absence of a magnetic object using a critical distance
Search by Specification | Learn MoreMagnetic proximity sensors include devices that work on inductive, variable reluctance, magneto resistive or Hall effect principles. Proximity sensors detect the presence or absence of an object using a critical distance
Search by Specification | Learn MoreMagnetic field instruments include meters, gauges, recorders and other instrumentation for the measurement of magnetic fields and/or magnetic flux.
Search by Specification | Learn MoreTemperature instruments use contact or noncontact methods to measure temperature. Products include dial, digital, industrial and laboratory thermometers; temperature probes, indicators, and sensors; RTD elements and transmitters; and thermistors, thermocouples, thermopiles, and thermal switches.
Search by Specification | Learn MoreLevel sensors are used to detect liquid or powder levels, or interfaces between liquids. There are two basic level-measurement types: continuous and point or multi-point
Search by Specification | Learn MoreRTD (resistive temperature device) elements are wire windings or other thin-film serpentines that exhibit changes in resistance with changes in temperature
Search by Specification | Learn MoreHumidity measurement instruments test for absolute humidity, relative humidity, or dew point in air.
Search by Specification | Learn MoreTemperature sensors are measurement devices that infer temperature by sensing some physical characteristic (i.e. resistance, emf or thermal radiation
Search by Specification | Learn MoreLiquid level sensors are used to detect liquid levels or interfaces between liquids such as oil and water or liquids and solids.
Search by Specification | Learn MoreGas sensors interact with a gas to initiate the measurement of its concentration. The sensor then provides output to an instrument to display the measurements
Search by Specification | Learn MoreTouch screen sensors are composed of a transparent touch surface surrounded by a sensor array that provides positional information to a processor
Search by Specification | Learn MoreNoncontact infrared temperature sensors absorb ambient infrared (IR) radiation given off by a heated surface. They are used in applications where direct temperature measurement is not possible
Search by Specification | Learn MoreSchneeberger's AMSA 3L distance measuring system has been conceived for extra long axes. "The product for all lengths" is made possible by this highly accurate combination of guidway and linear encoder. (read more)
The iC-SM5L is a linear position Sensor which operates on the AMR (anisotropic magneto resistance) and has been designed to work with magnetic scales which have a N/S pole pitch of 5 mm. (read more)

Honeywell's VF526DT Dual Hall-Effect Digital Position Sensors provide signal stability over a wide temperature range, featuring both speed and direction sensing in a 4-pin SOT-89B package available in 1,000/tape and reel. The sensors' temperature-compensated magnetics with lower current consumption are designed for use in potential applications. (read more)
TURCK has created a twin-set sensor to augment its line of BIM-UNT cylinder position sensors. The twin-set sensor is comprised of two BIM-UNT sensing heads connected by an over-molded cable. The power and signal wires are then combined into an integral M12 connector on the sensor. Therefore, the customer only has to use one 4-wire cordset to connect the BIM-UNT twin-set sensor to their P... (read more)
SSI Controls Technologies Division is a leader in the design, development and manufacturing of passive (Variable Reluctance) and active (Hall Effect or Magneto-Resistive) magnetic sensors.
SSI has over 25 years of experience providing magnetic sensing solutions that meet the specific needs of our OEM Customers.
Typical Magnetic Sensor Applications:
Temper Corporation manufactures custom magnetic speed sensor assemblies using magnet ring technology which can be supplied with various sensor technologies icluding hall effect, reed switch, and magneto resistive switches. These rings are ideal for speed control, direction and steering sensing, counting applications, and incremental encoders. (read more)
The iC-ML supplies the absolute linear position of a magnetic tape placed above the chip's package, with a Hall sensor array granting a reasonable system assembly tolerance. Controlled signal amplitudes are ensured by the embedded signal conditioning circuit also monitoring a "loss of magnetic field" condition. (read more)
AMS develops and manufactures high-performance magnetic sensors using magnetoresistive materials and magnetic tunnel junctions. Our sensor technology is a result of AMS-funded R&D on state-of-art sensing materials and technology. This image shows a test die used to determine angular dependence of the magnetic behavior of the spin-valve sensing resistors. (read more)
