All Sensors has launched a new webpage to provide design engineers with basic tools and technical resources to assist in the process of designing a pressure sensor into a product application. The Engineering Resources webpage also hosts a live pressure and temperature conversion tool that can be bookmarked by engineers for calculations.

Pressure sensors include all sensors, transducers and elements that produce an electrical signal proportional to pressure or changes in pressure. Search by Specification | Learn More about Pressure Sensors
Automotive products and equipment includes original and replacement auto parts, as well as the tooling and machinery used to build components, systems, and complete vehicles. Learn More about Automotive Products and Equipment
Manifolds and manifold systems are fluid-distribution devices. They range from simple supply chambers with several outlets to multi-chambered flow control units including integral valves and interfaces to electronic networks. Search by Specification | Learn More about Manifolds and Manifold Systems
Tactile pressure sensors are used to detect the pressure distribution between a sensor and a target. Search by Specification | Learn More about Tactile Pressure Sensors
Color sensors register items by contrast, true color, or translucent index. True color sensors are based on one of the color models, most commonly the RGB model (red, green, blue). Search by Specification | Learn More about Color Sensors
Touch screen sensors are composed of a transparent touch surface surrounded by a sensor array that provides positional information to a processor. Search by Specification | Learn More about Touch Screen Sensors
Web sensing systems and web scanning systems employ a variety of sensors that scan across a moving web to detect defects and measure parameters such as product basis weight, thickness and moisture. Learn More about Web Sensing and Scanning Systems
Safety sensor switches are placed in enclosures to prevent accidental contact with live electrical connections. Learn More about Safety Sensor Switches
Light sensor chips convert light into electrical signals which are then conditioned to produce a desired electrical output. They are sometimes called light-to-frequency chips, light-to-voltage chips, or ambient light sensors. Learn More about Light Sensor Chips
Sensor interface and excitation IC chips are used as interfaces to sensors and other devices. The input at the interface collects data from the sensor and the output of the interface sends the data to a computer or other suitable device. Learn More about Sensor Interface Chips
Gas detectors and gas sensors interact with a gas to initiate the measurement of its concentration. The detector or sensor then provides output to an instrument to display the measurements. Search by Specification | Learn More about Gas Detectors and Gas Sensors
Sensor chips are dies incorporating semiconductor circuit elements that are used to convert changes to some physical parameter to an electrical signal. Search by Specification | Learn More about Sensor Chips
Sensor mounts, sensor cables and sensor adapters are components specifically engineered for holding/positioning sensors or connecting sensors to sensor systems or instruments. Learn More about Sensor Mounts, Cables and Adapters
Sensor transmitters are measurement or signal conditioning packages that provide a standard, calibrated output from a sensor or transducer in the form of a current loop output (e.g., 4-20 mA). Search by Specification | Learn More about Sensor Transmitters
Linear position sensors is a general search form for all linear position / displacement detection product areas. Search by Specification | Learn More about Linear Position Sensors

Reliable monitoring of cylinder pressure is not a challenge on large stationary gas engines with monitor senor type 6613C from Kistler Instrument. A life expectancy of at least 16,000 hours is designed in due to rugged construction features such as a knock resistant and corrosive resistant diaphragm. (read more)
Kistler is now offering the Type 6056A pressure sensor for use in glow plug adapters. This new highly precise M5 size sensor with its tried-and-tested measuring element has a miniaturized plug connection to permit installation deep inside the glow plug adapter. Thanks to this innovation, many different glow plug adapters can be fitted with a single type of standard-length pressure sensor. (read more)
The advantage of the 1500 Series MAP tray and cup sealers is the rotary table, which allows an output capacity of one and a half to two times that of our manual machine. In addition, this machine can be equipped with a motorized table for a higher production rate. Suited for both foodservice and retail applications, it even functions as a non-MAP tray sealer! Improving and optimizing the molding of polymers with long cycle times is more production friendly with the type 4079A… series of pressure sensor measurement systems from Kistler Instrument. (read more)
PPS TactArray Systems were developed for measuring the tactile pressure distribution between objects in direct physical contact. (read more)
It's one thing to come up with a product—it's quite another to create a solution. It requires a specific set of skills and understanding. We have been involved in creating pressure sensing solutions for close to 15 years across multiple industries and applications. Our pressure sensors have been specifically crafted to deliver reliable performance. (read more)
Kavlico has recently designed a low cost, stainless steel configuration pressure sensor for low pressure range measurements of 0–1 PSI through 0–350 PSI gage, absolute, or differential for aircraft & ground applications. (read more)
From aviation to automotive and medical equipment to manufacturing systems, piezoresistive pressure sensors provide reliable solutions in a wide array of industries. Piezoresistive literally means electromechanical. Pressure exerted on the sensor causes a mechanical deflection of the silicon diaphragm. Learn more about the technology and it's relevance to your project (read more)

Smith Systems, Inc. passive speed sensors (Magna-Tran ®)convert mechanical motion to an A/C voltage without the need of a power supply. These self-contained magnetic sensors produce a magnetic field which, when in the proximity of ferrous objects in motion, generate a voltage. The frequency of this voltage is directly proportional to the speed of the object in motion. (read more)
