Linear velocity sensors measure the linear velocity of an object using either contact or non-contact techniques. Search by Specification | Learn More
Air velocity flow sensors measure air velocity or volume flow using insertion probes or capture hoods. Search by Specification | Learn More
Weather instruments are designed to measure one or multiple components of weather including wind speed and direction, rain or snow fall, solar radiation, temperature, pressure and humidity. Search by Specification | Learn More
Wind turbines convert the kinetic energy from wind into mechanical energy. When used with an electrical generator, the rotation of the wind turbine’s blades turns a shaft to produce electricity. Learn More
Gas flow switches and liquid flow switches, velocity, are used to measure the flow or quantity of a moving fluid in terms of velocity, such as feet per minute. Search by Specification | Learn More
Measurement microphones are most commonly condenser microphones, which convert sound pressure to an output that is then converted into a reading such as sound pressure level (SPL). Search by Specification | Learn More
Humidity measurement instruments test for absolute humidity, relative humidity, or dew point in air. Search by Specification | Learn More
Dimensional measurement and metrology services use mechanical gaging, CMM measurement, non-contact imaging or other specialized methods to inspect and measure part dimensions and geometry. Search by Specification | Learn More
Test, inspection and measurement software is used to design, automate and implement the testing of instruments and equipment, and the measurement of device parameters. Search by Specification | Learn More
Interface level measurement equipment includes sensors and meters for the detection and measurement of interface levels between different media, such as oil/water interfaces and liquid/solid interfaces. Learn More
Tachometers are used to measure the velocity of a rotating object. They operate on the principle that a driven motor (i.e., a motor operated as a generator) produces a voltage that is proportional to the angular velocity of the motor shaft. Search by Specification | Learn More
Web winders, web rewinders and web unwinders are used for winding, rewinding, and unwinding webs made of paper, film, foil, nonwovens and textiles. Learn More
...or liquid. The density range (mass per volume), accuracy, and response time characterize most of these instruments. Simultaneous measurements and user interfaces are also important in choosing the proper density and specific gravity instruments... Search by Specification | Learn More
...usually at right angles to each other and averaged. A formula or chart is then used to convert the averaged measurements to a Brinell hardness number. Test forces usually range from 500 to 3000 kilograms (occasionally down to 1kg in less frequently used... Search by Specification | Learn More
...technologies are also used. Non-destructive testing (NDT) material testers can measure a variety of properties. Ultrasonic (UT) NDT material testers with velocity measurement capabilities can measure changes to a material’s elastic modulus, the ratio... Search by Specification | Learn More

The EE75 series air velocity transmitters are designed to measure air or gas velocity in industrial environments (Temp: -40 to 248ºF, Pressure:0 to 145 psi, Air Velocity: 0 to 8,000 fpm). The EE75 utilizes a high-quality heated thin film sensor element with full temperature compensation. Excellent performance at low flow rates. (read more)
Precision speed and length measurements are critical for controlling production costs and for process optimization of continuous or quasi-continuous production. The ideal sensor must meet or exceed contact sensor performance while increasing dependability, surviving adverse industrial environments and minimizing maintenance. (read more)
Flyer winders for externally slotted stators: The XL-WF series machines are high speed winding machines for externally slotted stators. These machines are available in one, two and three head configurations. (read more)
As a more precise and repeatable method, Gapman "an electronic feeler gage" is used instead of feeler gages to set the gap between the rotor poles and the stator. This gap is particularly critical at the 6 o'clock position due to the gravity effect of the heavy rotor shaft and magnetic assemblies. In a 1.65 kW model 50 to 60 individual pole gaps must measured. (read more)
High speed In-slot winder capable of winding any pole configuration with just a simple adjustment to the machine.
The XL series in-slot stator winders, for universal shaded pole, stepper, servo motors and other in slot wound stators. (read more)
If you are in the business of power generation, your company might be on our list of valued customers already. Following are some applications where the SPG DATA 3D measuring system produces considerable time and cost savings when compared to traditional measuring methods. (read more)

Polytec's TopMap Metro.Lab is an affordable, high-precision, non-contact topography measurement system designed to characterize flat and curved surfaces. Incorporating a scanning white light interferometer, the Metro.Lab can measure flatness and general topography with 20 nanometer resolution and determine parallelity of two or more surfaces separated by as much as 70 mm.
