Thermistors are thermally-sensitive devices whose electrical resistance varies with temperature. Unlike RTDs and thermocouples, thermistors do not have standards associated with their resistance vs. temperature characteristics or curves.
Search by Specification | Learn MoreTemperature instruments use contact or noncontact methods to measure temperature. Products include dial, digital, industrial and laboratory thermometers; temperature probes, indicators, and sensors; RTD elements and transmitters; and thermistors, thermocouples, thermopiles, and thermal switches.
Search by Specification | Learn MoreTemperature signal conditioners accept outputs from temperature measurement devices such as resistance temperature detectors (RTDs), thermocouples, and thermistors. They then filter, amplify, and/or convert these outputs to digital signals, or to levels suitable for digitization.
Search by Specification | Learn MoreThermistor temperature probes sense temperature by using thermistors, devices made of semiconductor materials which exhibit a large change in resistance for a small change in temperature.
Search by Specification | Learn MoreOptocouplers are capable of transferring an electrical signal between two circuits while isolating the circuits from each other.
Search by Specification | Learn MoreHumidity measurement instruments test for absolute humidity, relative humidity, or dew point in air.
Search by Specification | Learn MoreMicroscopes are instruments that produce magnified images of small objects
Search by Specification | Learn MoreOil seals and grease seals have a flexible lip that rubs against a shaft or housing to prevent the leakage or ingress of fluids and dirt.
Search by Specification | Learn MoreIndustrial ceramic materials are non-metallic, inorganic compounds that include oxides, carbides, or nitrides. They have high melting points, low wear resistance, and a wide range of electrical properties.
Search by Specification | Learn MoreCast iron is an alloy of iron with high amounts of carbon and includes ductile iron, gray iron and white cast iron grades.
Search by Specification | Learn MoreOptical and light microscopes use the visible or near-visible portion of the electromagnetic spectrum to magnify images of objects.
Search by Specification | Learn MoreBorescopes are inspection tools with rigid or flexible optical tubes for interior inspection of holes, bores, cavities, etc.
Search by Specification | Learn MoreOptical prisms are blocks of optical material with flat, polished sides that are arranged at precisely controlled angles to one another. They are used in optical systems to deflect or redirect beams of light. They can invert or rotate images, disperse light into component wavelengths, and separate states of polarization.
Search by Specification | Learn MoreVaristors are voltage-clamping devices that can absorb current without damage. They are typically used in surge protection devices.
Search by Specification | Learn MoreMechanical seals including mechanical face seals, bellows, gas seals, and cartridge seals.

The thermister Coupler (TC-4T) is a four-channel inductively coupled power and data transfer system. On the Mobile Ring (rotating) side, up to four (4) thermisters can be connected to the system. Each thermisters sensor is supplied with a +5 V DC reference source connected via a 10 KW precision resistor. (read more)

A typical dilution fitting is a plumbing device that is attached to a gas detection instrument sample inlet port so the sample flow going into the instrument passes through the dilution fitting. The dilution fitting creates a calibrated "leak" into the incoming sample, and dilutes the sample with fresh air. (read more)

Operating a fan or blower at full speed continuously, or cycling it on and off, is a sub optimal solution in most
cooling and ventilating applications. Ideally, the fan or blower should be controlled to operate at whatever speed
is necessary to satisfy the need of the moment, no more and no less.
The SmartFan cooling system senses environmental conditions suc... (read more)
Both Direct Connect Sensors and Sensor/Transmitters have advantages that should be understood before deciding on which detector to select. Direct connect sensors offer the advantage of having a lower cost than a sensor/transmitter style, because a direct connect sensor does not utilize a transmitter in its design. (read more)
