The AMTI BP1822-GT is specifically designed for the precise measurement of ground reaction forces. The platform measures the three orthogonal force components along the X, Y, and Z axes, and the moments about these axes, producing a total of six outputs. The top plate of the platform is constructed from pyrex, and is slightly smaller than the bottom of the force platform. This allows convenient placement of lighting sources along the edges of the glass.
