The FS2000 insertion type NuTec represents the first thermal flow switch designed with 2 wire, 4 to 20 mA loop power. Using 24 Vdc input power, this design allows for retrofitting existing 2 wire failure prone mechanical float and paddle switches without wiring modifications. An alarm with SPDT relay and input power of 85 to 265 Vac, 24 Vdc or 24 Vac is available as an option. FCI is the only thermal manufacturer providing temperature compensation to ensure set point accuracy for process temperatures that vary up to ± 100° F. All Nutec Series flow and level switches are designed with proven thermal mass flow sensor technology in a rugged package that is easy to install and requires minimal maintenance.
