The new AccuQuest TM foot features an improved design that is height adjustable from below the platform. Instead of the typical threaded hole into which the load cell foot is attached, the innovative Neutral Axis Loading (NAL) technology load cell has a hollow area machined on its underside. The foot is secured in this hollow area by a hardened steel nut and bolt, but it can still move to compensate for uneven floors. This system ensures load forces are always applied to the load cell at precisely the same point regardless of where the load is placed on the scale, so you can obtain accurate, repeatable weighments.
