Searchline Excel operates in potentially hazardous environments, detecting the presence and build up of explosive concentration of Hydrocarbon gas clouds. Searchline Excel is certified to Exd and has the major CENELEC and UL / CSA approvals for worldwide acceptance. The receiver unit produces an analog output signal proportional to actual gas concentrations within the volume of air located between transmitter and receiver. The signal indicates the level of potential hazard in units of LEL. Plant shutdown, staff evacuation or forced ventilation can be actioned as a direct result of Searchline Excel´s alarm warning, maintaining plant productivity as long and as safely as possible.
