The resolution of the measuring system is 30 micrometers per step. The contact-free measuring sensor stage of the MCD Sensor didn't have any abrasion. So in comparison with potentiometer based sensor stages, the linearity remains stable even after 1 Million measuring cycles. The Sensors can be connected via standard serial SSI interface or via CANopen bus interface.
