Dytran Instruments Inc. has just introduced an ultra miniature IEPE accelerometer with titanium housing. Weighing in at just 0.2 grams, this miniature accelerometer successfully reduces mass loading effects. Because of its tiny "teardrop" design, the 3224A2 is ideal for vibration measurements in even the smallest locations. (read more)

Dytran Instruments, Inc. is pleased to introduce two new high sensitivity accelerometers that feature a miniature tear drop design. The new IEPE shock accelerometer model 3086A series is designed for drop / shock testing and far field blast testing. It features top mount solder pins which eliminate discontinuities during high g events and allows for a field replaceable cable. The 3086A is available in 6 ranges from 2,500g to 70,000g, is electrically isolated, hermetically sealed, and has a very high natural frequency. (read more)

Dytran Instruments, Inc. is pleased to introduce a new miniature triaxial accelerometer that is ideal for use in applications where space is at a premium. The 3023M20 uses the latest in quartz shear technology coupled with 2-wire internal IEPE electronics. Model 3023M20 mounts with adhesives into very small spaces since its vertical dimension is 0.28 in. It weighs only 2.4 grams. (read more)

The model 5860B impedance head simultaneously measures dynamic force and acceleration at a point on a structure. The output force and acceleration signals are coupled to a signal analyzer to measure a function called "Driving Point Impedance". The acceleration output is typically integrated to velocity in order to compute the mechanical impedance. (read more)

Dytran Instruments, In. is proud to introduce our new line of DC accelerometers using variable capacitance technology. This capacitive mircomachined accelerometer provides +/-2V differential output for +/-2V single ended output with a 2.5VDC offset. The Dytran model 3045A is an IEPE accelerometer that is designed specifically for vibration testing under cryogenic conditions. Continuous operation down to -420°F makes this unit ideal for ultra low temperature environments. Even at these extremely cold temperatures the signal output remains very stable. Two poles of low pass filtering helps remove spurious high frequency data. (read more)

Dytran's Model 3088C is a high temperature, charge mode accelerometer capable of operating at temperatures up to +600ºF. It has a nominal sensitivity of 10 pC/g and an upper frequency range of 5,000 Hz. The miniature tear drop accelerometer, model 3225F1, is Dytran's smallest sensor to date. It is an ideal response accelerometer due to its very small size and mass. It has a sensitivity of 10mV/g and can measure vibrations up to ±500g. The 3225F1 features all titanium construction and has a removable cable. (read more)

Dytran's Model 3089A is ideal for Environmental Stress Screening (ESS) applications where small size and low mass are critical. The 3089A is a subminiature, 10mV/g, adhesive mount accelerometer with integral lead wires. It weighs only 0.6 grams. (read more)

The Dytran accelerometer model 3030B5 is the industry standard workhorse used in almost all HALT/HASS environmental test chambers for vibration control. The Dytran pressure sensor model 2180C is a high intensity acoustic sensor ideal for measurements involving gas turbine combustor dynamics. The Dytran 4007 is a 4-channel IEPE signal conditioning board that is intended for installations in OEM applications. The model 4007 features two outputs labeled AC and DC for each channel. The DC output is proportional to the RMS input. Each channel is equipped with a variable low pass filter of 3 kHz and 10 kHz. (read more)

Dytran's 2300V series piezoelectric dynamic pressure sensors feature fast rise times, rugged stainless steel construction, high stiffness, and extended ranges.
